AIRCRAFT BRIEF
The Airbus A330-900neo (New Engine Option) is the stretched variant of the A330neo family, offering up to 440 seats in a high-density configuration and a range of 7,200 nmi. It first flew in October 2017 and entered service with TAP Air Portugal in late 2018, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines that deliver an 11% fuel efficiency improvement over the previous generation. The A330-900neo bridges the gap between the A330ceo and the A350, giving airlines a cost-effective wide-body for medium and long-haul routes.
