About FLIGHT Checklist

FLIGHT Checklist provides free, interactive startup checklists for flight simulator pilots. Whether you fly the Cessna 172 Skyhawk, Airbus A320neo, A400M Atlas, or PMDG 737-800 in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, or the F/A-18C Hornet, A-10C Thunderbolt II, and F-16C Viper in DCS World - follow each step from cold and dark through engine start to taxi with a single tap. No downloads required. Works on desktop and mobile.

Phase-based flow

Before Start, Engine Start, Before Taxi and onward - each phase with its own progress bar, the way real crews work.

Progress saved

Every tap is stored on your device. Pause a long airliner setup, fly something else, and pick up exactly where you left off.

Voice control

Hands full with the hardware? Voice mode reads each step aloud and listens for your confirmation.

Print layout

Every checklist has a clean print view for pilots who like a kneeboard on paper.

Microsoft Flight Simulator

MSFS 2024

43 aircraft, from trainers like the Cessna 172 and 152 through turboprops such as the TBM 930 and King Air 350i to study-level airliners including the PMDG 737-800 and 777-300ER, the Fenix A320 and A321, and the FlyByWire A32NX and A380X. Helicopter pilots get the H125, Bell 407, EC135 T1, and the UH-1H Huey. Airliner checklists include optional GSX ground services steps.

Digital Combat Simulator

DCS World

39 modules, and combat jets are where a written ramp start earns its keep: the F/A-18C Hornet's INS alignment, the F-16C Viper's JFS start, the F-14B Tomcat's ground-crew coordination, and the A-10C II's CDU setup are all step-sequenced with warnings where a wrong move means a hung start. Warbirds, helicopters, and trainers each add emergency procedures and a quick reference card.

Benchmark Sims

Falcon BMS

The ramp start is half the sim's reputation, and the checklists respect that: F-16C Block 40, 50, and 52 procedures follow the BMS systems model, including JFS accumulator behavior and realistic alignment times, plus the F-15C, A-10A, and F-4E Phantom II.

Free Pilot Tools

Alongside the checklists there are 22 free pilot tools, no signup required. Decode weather with the METAR decoder and TAF decoder. Plan performance with the top of descent calculator, takeoff and landing distance calculators, and the density altitude calculator. Handle fuel with the fuel weight converter (Jet A at 6.7 lb per gallon, Avgas at 6.0) and trip fuel calculator, check loading with the weight and balance tool, and find scenic legs with the MSFS route planner. E6B-style helpers cover crosswind components, wind correction angles, holding entries, and time-speed-distance problems.

Everything on FLIGHT Checklist runs in your browser, works on a phone or tablet next to your sim, and is written for flight simulation only - always fly the real aircraft by its official documentation. If you spot an error in a procedure, every checklist page has a report button; corrections usually ship within days.
