- 4Report the maximum value observed and the time above limits in the maintenance log
- 5If unable to keep the engine within limits, shut the affected engine down
- 6If conditions do not permit shutdown, land as soon as possible using minimum thrust for safe flight
- 7At or above N1 109.4% or N2 105.7%: THR LEVER of the affected engine - IDLE
- 8ENG MASTER of the affected engineOFF, then apply ENG (1 or 2) SHUT DOWN
- 1APU (if available)ENSURE STARTED
- 2If ENG 1 FIRE pb is pushed, do not use APU bleed
- 3If ENG 2 FIRE pb is pushed, do not use APU bleed unless X BLEED is selected to SHUT
- 4CONF 3 is the preferred landing configuration unless performance or a limitation dictates otherwise
- 5The A321 may use CONF 3 or FULL for a single engine autoland
- 6One engine inoperative: the autopilot may not be used for non-ILS approaches in FINAL APP, NAV/VS or NAV/FPA
- 7Use both thrust levers to deploy the single available reverser; modulate as runway conditions allow
