- 2Within the max pointer band (N1 100 to 109.4%, N2 100 to 105.7%): THR LEVER of the affected engineBELOW LIMIT
- 3Normal operation may be resumed and maintained until the next landing
- 4Report the maximum value observed and the time above limits in the maintenance log
- 5If unable to keep the engine within limits, shut the affected engine down
- 6If conditions do not permit shutdown, land as soon as possible using minimum thrust for safe flight
- 7At or above N1 109.4% or N2 105.7%: THR LEVER of the affected engineIDLE
- 8ENG MASTER of the affected engineOFF, then apply ENG (1 or 2) SHUT DOWN
After Engine Shutdown

- 5The A321 may use CONF 3 or FULL for a single engine autoland
- 6One engine inoperative: the autopilot may not be used for non-ILS approaches in FINAL APP, NAV/VS or NAV/FPA
- 7Use both thrust levers to deploy the single available reverser; modulate as runway conditions allow
- 8Establish and communicate a plan, monitor fuel balance, consider the Emergency Landing Checklist
