Cabin Altitude Warning or Rapid Depressurization
Immediate actions · 7 steps

- 4Outflow VALVE SwitchHOLD IN CLOSE UNTIL THE OUTFLOW VALVE INDICATION SHOWS FULLY CLOSED
- 5If cabin altitude is uncontrollable: Passenger SignsON, PASS OXYGEN Switch - ON, then go to the Emergency Descent checklist
- 6If cabin altitude is controllable: continue manual operation; oxygen masks may be removed at or below 10,000 ft cabin altitude
- 7Then go to QRH Ch. 2
Emergency Descent

Runaway Stabilizer
Immediate actions · 8 steps
- 1Control ColumnHOLD FIRMLY
- 2Autopilot (if engaged)DISENGAGE (do not re-engage)
- 3Autothrottle (if engaged)DISENGAGE (do not re-engage)
- 4Control aircraft pitch attitude manually with control column and main electric trim as needed
- 5If the runaway continues after the autopilot is disengaged: STAB TRIM CUTOUT switches (both)CUTOUT
- 6If the runaway continues: Stabilizer Trim WheelGRASP AND HOLD
- 7StabilizerTRIM MANUALLY, anticipate trim requirements

Airspeed Unreliable

- 5If the engine fire switch or ENG OVERHEAT light is illuminated: Engine Fire SwitchROTATE TO THE STOP AND HOLD FOR 1 SECOND
- 6If after 30 sec the switch or ENG OVERHEAT light stays illuminated: Engine Fire SwitchROTATE TO THE OTHER STOP AND HOLD FOR 1 SECOND
- 7Then go to QRH Ch. 8
Engine Overheat

- 1Autothrottle (if engaged)DISENGAGE

- 3If the ENG OVERHEAT light stays illuminatedGO TO THE ENGINE FIRE OR ENGINE SEVERE DAMAGE OR SEPARATION CHECKLIST
- 4If the ENG OVERHEAT light extinguishesRUN THE ENGINE AT REDUCED THRUST TO KEEP THE LIGHT EXTINGUISHED
- 5Then go to QRH Ch. 8
Loss of Thrust on Both Engines
Immediate actions · 6 steps
- 1ENGINE START Switches (both)FLT
- 2Engine Start Levers (both)CUTOFF
- 3When EGT decreases: Engine Start Levers (both)IDLE DETENT
- 4If EGT reaches a redline or there is no increase in EGT within 30 sec: Start Lever (affected engine)CONFIRM, CUTOFF, THEN IDLE DETENT
- 5Note: if the aircraft reverts to standby power there are no MMO/VMO protections
- 6Then go to QRH Ch. 7
Engine Limit or Surge or Stall
