AIRCRAFT BRIEF
The Airbus A400M Atlas is a European four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft. First flown in 2009, it was designed to replace aging C-130 Hercules and C-160 Transall fleets across NATO nations. It combines tactical airlift capability with strategic range, able to operate from short unpaved runways while carrying heavy loads over long distances.
