    Touchdowns should normally be made at the lowest possible airspeed with full flaps
  5. 5
    When committed: Landing gear leverAS REQUIRED, Flaps - AS DESIRED, Throttle - CLOSE, Mixture - IDLE CUT-OFF, Ignition - OFF, BATT MASTR - OFF, ALTR - OFF, Fuel selector - OFF

    Note: with the battery master OFF the landing gear cannot be retracted

Alternator Failure

    Check the circuit breaker panel; close an open breaker only once. If it opens again the equipment has failed

    If the ammeter shows zero: ALTR switchOFF

    Reduce electrical loads to minimum

    If power is not restored: ALTR switchOFF, reduce loads and land as soon as practical. The battery is the only remaining source of power
